Directly on top of the foundation we laid a sheet of black plastic to keep moisture from getting down into (and plants from then coming up from) the ground. Note that we shaped the dirt underneath to channel water to the back-left and front-right corners of the site. On top of the plastic we then bolted 2x6s into the foundation, forming the base of the greenhouse structure. You can see our water inlet pipes poking up out of the plastic.
